Always wanted to see what a classic Swedish stuga, painted yellow with the white trim, would like like as a mansion. Somebody must have thought the same thing because I found this majestic villa a few days ago. Lots of competing styles are enclosed in the interior, from the glass pavilion, to the stone walls and arches, to the white interior and the hardwood stairs, trim, and walls. The outside impresses the most with a symmetrical form reminiscent of a neoclassical state building or castle. The symmetry is offset skillfully with the placement of the glass pavilion on its corner, which differentiates itself from the building, but does not compromise the latter’s form and superiority, but adds to it.
